For those who have a problem with lift-distance (minimum distance for mouse to be lifted, as small as possible depending on the user). Lift-Distance problem would not be solved only by updating your driver or firmware. Laopansolotech would like to give you a tip of how to minimize your lift-distance.
The special thing about this tip is you don’t need any special skills or tools to open up your lovely Razer Deathadder. What you need is just a solid tape (not transparent one), in this case we use a price-tag tape.

How do laopansolotech do it? You can just close the bottom optical Razer-Deathadder sensor. You can even customize the distance depending on how you would like it to behave. We can assure you that this tip will help to cure the lift-distance problem; you can minimize it from 1 cm to 1 mm.

Before the un-transparent tape

After you put the tape on

We have tested this and it is just almost the same as using the steelseries one. Just put any type of tape or sticker as long as it is thin and un-transparent material. You can adjust the lift-distance that suits for you by adjusting the tape; the wider the optical surface are of the mouse that you close, the lift-distance would be smaller (keep in mind don’t close it entirely).

There you go folks, we hope this could help you solving your lift-distance for Razer Deathadder problem.
